earth’s happiest place
two streets over, a
sanitation truck stops and starts, stops and starts
laundry suds scent the air
feng shui’d chimes whisper
a blessing
feathered flyers twitter
vague vernaculars
sunlit wind kisses my skin
awake
in concert, my dog and I
absorb the moment
